We've all been there.  You find something you like - could be a car, a house, double-glazed windows, or in this case, some solar panels - and the salesperson gives their pitch about how good the product is.

But what happens if the product doesn't live up to the legend?  What if the sales pitch is too good to be true?

It can lead to a claim based in misrepresentation, and the party who relied upon the false or negligent statements can seek compensation.
